In the course of these exercises the theme of rapid change and the effects that such technology will have on our library enviroments have become a constant . These 2 are no exception and yet from the range of the debate and the strong views expressed it is clear to any newcomer that the exact impact it will have on our daily work routines and our interaction with our customers is a little unclear to say the least .Being aware of what exactly is out there is fine and tailoring it to the needs of our Service is also commenable .
